Executive Director, Parents Challenge
Deborah Hendrix has made Colorado Springs her home for over 27 years, having served her community as president of two school boards—Harrison School District 2 and Colorado Early Colleges. Deborah serves as Board Chair of Discover Goodwill Industries of Southern and Western Colorado. Currently Deborah is the Executive Director of Parents Challenge, a non-profit that supports low-income families with a full menu of educational choice – private, public, charter and home school. She is also the Strategic Network Administrator for Colorado Early Colleges. Previously, she worked for Junior Achievement Worldwide, a non-profit youth-oriented organization. Over the course of 20 years, she held nine positions with JA and gained experience in the areas of diversity management, board development, people management, strategic planning, event planning and course facilitation. Deborah is a multi-course instructor for Dale Carnegie Training in Colorado Springs. She has been instructing for 19 years and was selected the Instructor of the Year for Dale Carnegie Denver in 2003. Deborah is the owner of CD Global Enterprises, which provides training, coaching, and consulting to companies and organizations to meet the needs of a global workforce. She loves helping people grow and looks for every opportunity to make positive differences in people's lives.
